Our commitment
At De Pers Tapijten we take great pride in the quality of every rug we sell. Because our carpets are unique, handmade works of art, we ask that you read this policy carefully before purchasing.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please notify us in writing at info@depers-tapijten.nl before sending the item back.
Return conditions
To be eligible for a return, your rug must meet all of the following conditions:
- Returned within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation
- Unused, unrolled for inspection only, and in its original condition
- Not cleaned, washed, treated or altered in any way
- Packed in the original packaging
- Rugs that show signs of use, soiling, damage or alteration will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.
Return shipping costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Given the high value of our carpets, we strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. De Pers Tapijten accepts no liability for loss or damage during return transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method used at checkout.
Custom and made-to-order rugs
Rugs that have been specially ordered, made to measure, or customized at your request are excluded from the right of withdrawal. This exclusion will be communicated clearly at the time of ordering.
Damaged or incorrect items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@depers-tapijten.nl with photos of the damage and the packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
