Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements made through the webshop of De Pers Tapijten. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.

Products
All rugs sold by De Pers Tapijten are handmade, unique items. Slight variations in colour, size and pattern are inherent characteristics of handmade goods and do not constitute defects. Product images are as accurate as possible, but colours may appear slightly different on different screens.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in euros (€), inclusive of VAT, and exclusive of shipping costs unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. In the event of an obvious pricing error, De Pers Tapijten is not obliged to fulfil the order at the incorrect price and will contact you to discuss.
Order confirmation
An agreement is formed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of stock errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud or other exceptional circumstances. You will be notified and refunded promptly in such cases.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of ordering. We accept all major payment methods available at checkout. All payments are processed securely. Ownership of goods does not transfer to the customer until full payment has been received.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–3 business days and deliver within the timeframes stated in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. De Pers Tapijten is not liable for delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond our control.
Warranty and defects
Our rugs come with the statutory legal guarantee under Dutch and EU consumer law. If you receive a defective item, contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@depers-tapijten.nl with photos. We will offer repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including photographs, descriptions, logos and design — is the property of De Pers Tapijten and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.
Applicable law
These terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in The Hague, Netherlands. As a consumer you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
