Shipping policy
How we ship
Every rug at De Pers Tapijten is carefully rolled, wrapped in protective material and packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. We ship via registered carriers with tracking and insurance.
Processing time
Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. For very large or heavy rugs (over 20kg) please allow up to 5 business days for processing.
Delivery times
Netherlands: 2–4 business days
Belgium & Germany: 3–6 business days
Rest of Europe: 5–10 business days
Outside Europe: please contact us for a custom quote
Delivery times are estimates. During busy periods (holidays, sales) delivery may take slightly longer.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, size and destination of your order and are shown clearly at checkout before you confirm your purchase. For oversized or very heavy rugs a custom shipping rate will be quoted before your order is finalised.
Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email containing your track & trace code. Use this to follow your shipment in real time via the carrier's website.
Signature on delivery
All shipments require a signature upon delivery. If you are not home, the carrier will leave a notification with instructions for redelivery or collection. Please inspect the packaging before signing — if you notice visible damage, note it on the delivery form and contact us within 24 hours at info@depers-tapijten.nl.
In-store collection
You are welcome to collect your order for free from our store. Please wait for your order confirmation email before visiting.

Lost or delayed shipments
If your order has not arrived within 5 business days of the estimated delivery date, please contact us at info@depers-tapijten.nl. We will investigate with the carrier and resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
