Kashkuli Rug - 308x245 cm

This carpet is knotted by nomads and the semi-nomadic Ghashghais of southwestern Iran. The rug is known for its primitive, naive patterns with rustic charm. The nomads get their inspiration from the environment around them, which gives a modern and exciting carpet. The wool is generally of good quality. Kashkooli has a higher knot density and a shorter pile than other Gabbeh carpets.
